Cold Rolled (CR) coils

Cold-rolled (CR) stainless steel coils are produced by passing stainless steel through rollers at room temperature, which helps in achieving a smoother surface and more precise dimensions. This process involves the metal being rolled to a thinner gauge without heating, which results in a harder and stronger material compared to hot-rolled steel. Cold rolling also enhances the aesthetic appearance of the steel by producing a shiny, reflective surface that is often used for applications where aesthetics and high strength are important, such as in kitchen appliances, automotive parts, and architectural components.
In addition to its strength and surface finish, cold-rolled stainless steel also offers improved dimensional accuracy, making it ideal for precise applications. The process eliminates any oxidation and scale that typically occurs with hot rolling, offering a cleaner, more durable material. Cold-rolled stainless steel coils are often used in industries where quality and precision are key, such as in manufacturing, construction, and even medical devices.
